Also known as the Scotland of India, Kodagu(Coorg) is undoubtedly one of the best scenic places to visit in India! Located in the western ghats of South India, this land has produced some of the unique tradition, culture and personals. Even today, Coorgis(natives of Kodagu) are well known contributors to the Indian Army. General Field Marshall Cariappa, is the best testimony to what this land can produce from its soil.
Kodagu, lies in the south-west corner of the Indian state of Karnataka, bordering Kerala in the south-west. The natural beauty of Kodagu can be best enjoyed in home stays, where local host you amidst dense forest cover. The place is famous for it coffee that it produces and proudly exports to the world.
