The next moments will be the most cherishing moments of your journey into the Andamans.
Anadaman Islands are the most remote part of the Indian country, so remote that it takes 2 hours flight trip from the nearest metropolis, Chennai/Kolkata. Due to its isolation, the Islands have not really been touched by the population that has helped to maintain the Islands' beauty without commercialization.
At Diglipur jetty, you can take a 30 minute ride to the most unique pair of Islands in the world. What is unique about it? Well, here is the thing: At high tide, you can look the Islands that are just a little far way, but when the tide is low, you could walk easily between the two Islands of Ross & Smith that has thin strip of sand bar separating the sea!

The clean turquoise blue water conceals everything that is below it. Imagine walking the beautiful stretch with your loved one hand-in-hand. It would be the ideal holiday that you might be looking for! Also if you lucky and arrive at the right time, you might also witness turtle nesting in the beach the is home to the Olive Ridley turtles.

Due to the Island's location and low profile, there are not many visitors to this Island, that may be good new for you but you need to make sure that you have accommodation before you arrive here.

The Island has covers of tropical forest that maybe prefect for hiking along with snorkeling and scuba diving. You could also spot vivid coral reefs at the marine Sanctuary on the island.
